Job Description
We are looking for an EHS Specialist to support a steel manufacturing operation by strengthening workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory readiness. This position plays a key role in promoting a compliant and well-trained workforce through hands-on guidance, program coordination, and proactive risk identification. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in safety administration, employee training, and incident response within an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:• At least 2 years of experience in Human Resrouces, with an interest in environmental, health, and safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and general safety compliance practices.
• Familiarity with inspections, document findings, and follow through on corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train employees at different levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with onboarding processes, HR administration support, or safety orientation for new employees.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
