We are hiring for Associate Sterile Processing Technician positions in the Sterile Process Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Currently available schedules:

Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, (primary shifts will be Evening shift, Mon-Fri 2:00PM-10:30PM, and Night shifts, Mon-Fri 10:00PM-6:30AM), with the possibility of weekend rotations; 40 hours per week.

Sterile Processing Technicians collect, clean, decontaminate, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and reusable medical devices according to established standards. They assure that instruments and equipment are safe and ready for patient use when needed. Meticulous attention to detail is an essential function of this position.

Required qualifications:

• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
• Within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in sterile processing or Operating Room.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
