A socialite is someone who is well known or prominent in fashionable society, usually someone of upper class. A socialite commonly attends parties and events of the wealthy, and their style and lifestyle choices usually have a strong indirect influence on others.

Socialites can be hard people to get a hold of, especially if you're not in the club. There is also a cross-over with both entertainment talent (actors, singers and other performers) and the fashion industry (supermodels, fashion editors and fashion designers).
